At American Eagle, sizes slightly vary depending on the type. I'll give you my prediction.
Skirts & Jeans: 0 short in the anything except the Hipster & Favourite which you will probably need a 00 short. (00's are only found online)
Tees & tanks: XS or S depending on the length of the shirt. Anything scoop neck tends to be shorter than normal.
Long sleeve shirts: XS
Camis, tube tops, swim, etc: depends on your bust. This you would have to try on for yourself. Probably an XS as well. Note that shirts such as the crossover and campus cami's fit short.

As for Hollister, out of personal experience, you will probably be one size higher than anything you buy at American Eagle. The same goes for Abercrombie and Fitch. Their shirts fit short and jeans fit smaller than normal.

As for Aeropostale, their sizes are fairly decent. Chances are, whatever you buy at Kohls, JC Penney, Wal-Mart, TJ Maxx, etc, will probably be the same size in Aero.

Also, at AE, we do have the most amazing return policy ever. If you buy from ae. com, you can return or exchange at an AE store by keeping the packing slip and having the credit card of the original purchase (card needed only for returns). OR you can send it back to ae. com, but shipping is not refunded.

Hope this helps.
